Thermalgard Replacement Windows?
My wife had a contractor install Thermalgard replacement windows in our home and they suck. These are all vinyl double-hung and they warped and bowed, one window warped so bad it wouldn't close all the way shut. Not to mention the caulk seperated from the windows and trim.
Contractor tried to do the right thing. He brought a factory rep out and all the sashes were replaced and the windows were recaulked. Trouble is...they are doing it again. It seems to take 6-12 months for them to really warp. Advice???? |
