Subcontractor Pay

Hey guys, just wondering what some of you are paying your subcontractors per sq. for siding and per lin. foot for fascia and soffits?

We've been using subs for roofing at about $50-$70 per square on and off. We're looking to start subbing out siding projects. My question is, how much for installation and how much for tear off?

When hiring a new sub I tell them to fill out a sheet that has all my items on it. They set there rate. If there higher than I want to pay them I tell them. If there lower I win.

I've paid them between 55-90sq. and I provide the material.

What a guy.

I love the paper contractors that hire cheapo subs. A decent roofer gets that price for new projects.

That's where we start. Drip edge, counter flashing, 2 or 3 layer tear, step flashing, chimney flashing, vents, etc are all added into our price per square for sub contractors. I was giving a base price range.
