soffit and fascia corners
Whats your take on boxing out soffit and fascia at the corners of the house. If you dont box them out, IMO I think it looks like crap when you run the siding into the corner to make a wing looking effect. To boot I am wrapping the corners of the house with Ceder.
Thanks
Dano

Dano, I always box mine. I use one piece of aluminum with multiple bends, it takes a few minutes, but it looks clean as hell.

Can somebody explain what you mean by boxing a corner on fascia corners. I am currently trimming my own house and have had a lot of success making it look very professional. Now I'm getting ready to start bending the fascia but I cannot come up with a good way to make the corners look good. I have 6" fascia with a 1x2 strip under the drip cap.
Thanks!

1 in. tab it around them and make sure the 1 by 2 is about 3/4 longer with your 1 in. tab and the bottom of your 3/4 freeze board 1 by 2 is the 3/4 longer too
as far as boxing it's up too perferance 1/2 box or what looks like a wedge pc. or a full box, takes some practice to get good at them

Make sure you use lots and lots of nails, nail the facia at least every 6 inches.

Some one's being bad. Although I don't know how he can say he's a siding man but they have to learn sometime.

After hanging the facia, let it run 6 inches over the corner, wrap the facia around the corner. The next corner piece will lay over the wraped piece. Then scribe the outline of the corner on the back side of the next piece and cut. Install this piece keeping the cut flush on the corner.

Leave a inch and a half tag of aluminun fasia on fasia board, cut bottom lip of fasia, fold over nail with alumium nails NEVER with roofing nails. Nail one nail at least 1 every 16 inches
