Hopefully a different color will change that. Especially since you put that picture in my head now.

Thanks, I just went back and reread the entire thread. Funny, sometimes the fork in the road is more interesting than the direct route.

Thaks jumbo, I bought this house in 2002. Done a ton of fixing up, mostly maintanance, but alot of cosmetics too. The place was neglected for alot of years, but it was priced right and in a good neighborhood. Can't help but to be patient with this money pit.

Re: The Siding Chronicles.

Finally got some time to get back on this. I had to remove siding to reframe a larger door rough, installed new door, primed and 1st coat of finish. I guess the siding will go on after hours during the week.

Didn't you see my disclaimer on the other thread? I'm an old soul, tried and true. I'll go with what has always worked for me. The T-111 siding I'm covering up is 20 some odd years old and still solid.

I am glad to see (in a selfish way) that your place is STILL under construction. Makes me feel better that I have been taking mine apart and redoing it over the last 2 yrs and it is still not done..

I've been in a constant state of reno for 7 years. Being single has it's advantages.
