We spent about 45 minutes per sq of siding, 3 men. All the trim was custom bent with built in J channel. This is prefinished concrete also. And HO was a architect watching closely that we did not install damaged panels.

Is that white j-channel around those windows?

Shingles look good but man it needed some more jazz. Window wraps at the least.

I think 45mins a square is low. It really depends on your setup. Manlift I'd say 45 mins is about right. Ladder or pump jacks 1.5 or so.

All metal was custom bent to HO's desired look. Bent in J around windows with look of brick mould. All corners are custom bent with J built in also. Took at least ten different sample designs before HO settled on one.

Yeah, lift and bucket truck were used. We was delivering pizzas the week before this, thought we'd give it a try. You can learn alot from a Builder Bob video. and, yes all the little green caps were removed as we installed.

I would like wider trim aroung the windows and I don't like the nails showing under the windows. With a wider trim you could cover those nails.

James Hardie Staggerd Shakes. I'd like wider trim too,(and different colors) but I'm not the HO. Had to be surface nailed under windows, nails were painted.

If your going to use a metal trim aroung the windows, on the bottom you could do it in a two piece, Pat does all of his two piece, with a receiver and cover your nails that way.
