See I told you guys I could do Real Cedar Too!

Gonna be finishing this one tomorrow, gonna get a little hairy reaching the peak.

Turn the pump jacks around and stand on the bench side. Or, lower the upper sashes on those DH windows and shoot a plank inside, resting on the sash and the bench.

Been there, done that.

It looks like if I pull the work bench brackets off I will JUST reach the peak. The people are painting the house themselves and are scared to death of heights so they prepainted the shakes for the top of the gable. I they give me any trouble Im gonna put a nice fat 12" gray primered shake at the peak.

The smell of cut cedar all day HAS been putting me in a better mood though. Im not sure what a normal speed is, this wall has taken about 10 hours to get to this point. Just me, with a a guy on the ground doing some cutting.
