Sash Replacement - Craftec Windows

I have a customer whose home has Craftec brand clad double hung windows. From what I can tell the company was in NC and no longer in business.

They want to upgrade the sash with an insert replacement window or even new sash (jamb liners and balances).

In all my years I have never seen a sash opening configuration like this one. The bottom sash sits on about a 1" riser on the sill. Equal glass top and bottom sashes. Also top and bottom sash are the same overall height because the bottom sash sits on this riser instead of having a wider bottom rail which is typical.

Is there another manufacturer that you are aware of that makes a similar configuration?

Thanks,

Dave Norris
