Sandwich Frame For Glass On Resi Steel Doors?

I have 20 older steel resi doors with glass. The plastic frame/trim around the glass is beat up from the southern exposure. I can buy the glass and frame together but i really don't need the glass, just the frame. Any ideas?? Thanks..

I build a moulding out of wood that inserts into the hole with a second moulding that slips into it and covers the back side.

Depending on size of glass you can order the frames from suppliers. ODL glass has high performance frames with the seals and screws with plugs. Prices could be the same or less for new glass with frame. Standard opening on door is 23"x65" or 21"x65" for full glass on 6'8" doors.

Thanks, I got a price of $70 for the frame and glass which sounds pretty reasonable but 70 bucks could go a ways towards new prehung units.. Problem with spending real money on these doors is that the tenants will wreck them anyway so I was hoping for a cheap fix on the old ones. .... decisions.. thanks again.
