Roll Down Garage Doors....

Wondering if anyone here can help me find a garage door that rolls down...I am a mason by trade but got roped into helping my neighbor put together a steel building She wants one of the doors that roll up into a tight bundle at the top, like a roll of carpet looks, not the typical slide type. Sorry I don't know the technical terms, if anyone knows what I am talking about and can help me find one on the web etc, it would be great. The door is 8' wide.... Thanks in advance ya'll....

Those are commercial style doors. I have one that is that way. Mine says "Overhead Door Company" on it. Technically, they roll up and unroll down. If they rolled down, it would be under the floor.

Good Point!!!! I tried googling it, and just got too many ads, was kinda wondering if anyone had an actual brand that they would recommend. OVerhead door is in my area, and I figured I would probably have to go with them...

"overhead door" is your company, around here anyway. to the best of my knowledge, they are a national chain and my expereince with them has been nothing but positive!

also a great place to buy replacement rollers and tracks!

Great product. Great support. We did a 20 foot steel rollup door job for a customer about 2 years ago. It weighs about 2000 lbs as I recall. We did the demolition and the structural work, but had an authorized installer put the door up. They're so fast that it's almost impossible to save money by installing it with your own crew. Experience and product knowledge rule here. By the time you read the installation instructions, they'll have the job done.
