What type of blade for what type of saw for what type of window and what are you cutting? I'm not a window guy but I just took out some steel basement windows in a brick building, I used a torch.

Just get a good bi-metal blade for your saws-all. Try different tooth counts until you get one you are comfortable with. Lesser count (faster) work for nails. Maybe a finer count (slower) for some screws and bolts.

Limited experience, but what I have used. Can't remember the price.

I picked up some bosch bimetal blades a while back on sale-1/2 price. Turns out they break a lot more easily than the typcial blades I would pick up-more time running down the ladder to change out blades which slowed the window replacement job.

buy good blades :-)

You shoud be using an extractor to pull the aluminum frames out of the opening or cut around the window frame and leave the fin in the wall with a circular saw.
