Replacing transom glass

The glass is a half round and the window stop (u-channel) is very thick. Like 1 1/4 inches. I need to use new u channel since the new glass is going to be thicker. Does anyone know where I can get u-channel that is curved close to my specs?

Thanks

Is this insulated glass in there already or is it old single pane and you replacing it with an insulated unit?

haha, in a hurry. It's actually a 1/2 inch IG getting replaced with a 3/4 IG decorative glass. I'm guessing on the half in part, I'm praying it's 3/4 or 5/8". So I will probably need a smaller u channel/stop since the one they have is about 3/4 wide. I've done this in the past but with a square unit, not a curved top.

Thanks for the help and hanging in with me.

C.R. Laurance are the guys you should talk to. I have been working with them for 4 years and they have never let me down on any u-channel order. Any radius curve, shape, size or finish.

I think I even saw a "licked & wrapped in foil" option somewhere on their site

Good Luck

I would love to link you but the rules wont allow me to. Im sure that you have mastered the art of google.
