Replacement Door/window


how do i frame in openings for replacement doors (exterior) and windows?? customer had someone install new mahogany door in rehab house and door was crooked . so i removed door and tried to re install everything is level but door wont close thier is a 3/4 gap at top on handle side of door any sugestion on what to check for to fix this problem?? also the windows that he installed you can almost push out , i plan to take out and reframe but what is best way to do this? i am apainting /drywall taper and need to get this fixed so ican finsh my job i have basic idea on what to do just want to make sure i do it right. thanks for any help pauls painting :Thumbs:
