Repairing Jog In Wall For Stone
Heres another one that's got me stumped...
I'm siding a custom house where the foundation and exterior framed wall are misaligned by about an inch - the sill plate hangs over the foundation block wall to differing degrees. I have to install a short cultured stone wall that crosses this boundary, and the jog in the wall is too much to make up with mortar alone. My thought was to shoot some Durock or other concrete board material into the block wall to make up the difference. Would love to hear some other suggestions/procedures. Cheers, Nailbird |
