Problems With Hardiplank Colorplus

My sub has received 3 separate shipments from James Hardie - all had to be returned due to lack of color across the whole board and the beads do not line up. The last shipment was made-to-order and had each board inspected individually. Yet even southeastern Hardie reps & VP, wholesaler, and sub agree that none of the material is usable. We do know that the boards themselves were made in Peru (IL) and painted in Pulaski (VA) - all 3 shipments were manufactured at least a week apart. They said they'd send material painted in Peru but they didn't. We know the Pulaski plant is new but they mostly transferred experienced people into the plant from other James Hardie facilities. We're trying to use the Hardiplank Colorplus Beaded Cedarmill "Light Mist."

Has anyone else had this problem? What (and how) were you able to get good material?

By the way, my sub is a preferred Hardiplank Colorplus installer. Job was bid and accepted based on the Colorplus and painting after installing would add significantly to the cost and would probably be unacceptable.

thanks
