Re: Metal Brake Projects.

Here is the shutter idea. Some craftsman make products with thier own hands and tools. Others run to the big box stores to buy, what they are unable to make themselves.

Or when it's just more profitable to do so.

Brake buddy... Your rebuttle is showing the brake buddy? Seriously?

Dude I can bend anything you can bend. Your missing the point.

That metal shutter looks like it belongs on a trailer. I would never spend any time fabricating something that looks like crap and is going to get ruined as soon as ball hits it.

Get a grip.

I'd rather paint a shutter on the house than have something that looks as god awful as what you linked.

Painting is easier. No thinking or measuring.

Re: Metal Brake Projects.

Tom, I am not saying that I am the only craftsman around. All I wanted to know is some of the ideas or projects that other craftsman have done. I haven't posted a picture of it yet, because it is a project that I haven't started yet. Could you post some pictures of the ones you see in your area? The comment about the name is some installers do not even have thier name in thier profile. Who am I talking to? A real builder or a bored house wife that is sitting home playing on the computer?

Your totally missing the point. The shutter will look like junk no matter how much you measure or how much you think about it.

The one you just posted looks like junk.

I could careless really and i'm done.

The fact that you wanted to put the siding in the same plane as the siding tells me all I need to about you.

Yes, but you have to be careful so you hit the g-spot just right. You know, right above the V. We're talking about metal here right?

You need to relax. Take a swig of that fine moonshine that your pappy makes and come back. Or better yet give me address and I will make a road trip to check out your work. Then we both can drink some shine and shoot the s##t drinking around the still.
