Makita 18v impact lxt

Hey guys whats up bought the new makita lithiom ion 18v. impact gun with the hammer drill combo and I'm really im pressed by these tool's .I used the impact gun for the eave's and I was totally shocked at how much tork this little powerhouse has. I must of put in a thousand 2 inch screw's in one day and the thing keep's going.recomended for the siding, eaves trade!

What exactly do you use the tool for on siding jobs? We don't drive many screws and such on a siding job? Like to have a lightweight portable electric stapler to nail siding and J with. Do you know of those?
Thanks,
Dave

The only thing I would use a stapler for on a siding job is for the tyvek. I use 2" hex screws to hang my eaves . 5/8 pan head screws for soffit easpecially for the porch.

I use a trim nail in each piece of soffit. I use 1/2" hex screws for j-channel and other various things.

The only thing I use an impact drill for is securing columns to the concrete and shutter on brick.
