Just a heads up

I met with my roofing and siding supplier last week to see what new. I was informed that Alcoa is dropping there siding lines and Mastic is taking over. New colors, new samples, new prices.

I just found out. I have had few siding bids this year. There was talk of lower cost if fuel prices stay low but as we both know they need to make up alot of lost revenue so prices cant dip much if any.

Some prices will go up, but its because they are making the product thicker. Carvedwood will be an .044 panel. Several new colors with really gay sounding names. You can always get the discontinued colors as a dream color though.

The mastic name change happened almost a year ago when plygem bought the siding end of Alcoa
