Insulated Glass Shortage

I live in the Atlanta area and have had a problem sourcing insulated glass for my customers, lead time about 30 days. My supplier tells me it is because of the hurricaines from last fall and all the reconstruction work. Has anybody else experienced this?

Re: Insulated Glass Shortage

Chuck , sorry to hear your problem but its BS insulated glass is just regular glass glued together to make IGU. Tempered is just fired to make harder.
Here in Dallas i can have IGUs turned around in 12hrs. Might try finding another source.
