HardiPlank Tyvek DrainWrap
Doing a HadiPlank job in the NE and usually use felt on joints and lower courses for water protections with regular Tyvek for the rest. Yesterday a salesman suggested Tyvek DrainWrap as the correct backing for HardiPlank installs in our area. What's your expereince?

Re: HardiPlank Tyvek DrainWrap
Did not see what part of the country but I too live in a coastal wetland similar to EMDC and I have gone to utilizing Drain wrap only. Seems to work pretty well allowing any moisture behind the siding to be expelled. Just dont pull it to tight when stretching in on the wall....
