Glass Thickness?
Does anyone know how thick of an IG unit was used in the Survivor 5500 series?
If not, I will go measure it myself, but I told my GC I would check here first. Thanks. |

Re: Glass Thickness?
i believe 7/8 ... if a homeowner was "hell bent" on gettingb cheap windows,i reluctantly used survivor. they needed to point a gun at me and i also had to believe they would actually use it. thats the only time i would use survivor..lol

Re: Glass Thickness?
I appreciate your help. Not my window of choice either, but this is service work. I've stated it before, and I'll say it again, I really don't care what kind of window it is, as long as the company stands behind it and replaces any defects. I have yet to find one window company that far outshines everbody. The closest I found was the Republic, but we won't get into that right now.
