Flexible J-Channel

I have a major problem. I am using canyon clay siding and have an arched window. I cannot find any flexable J-channel in Canyon clay. Can you paint flexible J-Channel. I have paint that will match it perfectly... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

Re: Flexible J-Channel

I just installed some Canyon Clay on an addition last month (Amherst brand??), - - their 'J' was a little larger than normal (which could work to your advantage), - - I doubt if paint would hold up too long on vinyl (too much movement), - - but I wonder if you could install 'any-color-flex' as your base, - - and then 'face-cut' your Canyon Clay 'J' for your front-piece, - - in other words, cut off the back and some of the bottom, - - just leaving the whole face and about the front 1/2" of the bottom, - - then cut slits every few inches or so along the bottom so it could flex easier. To attach, - - you'd slide it your bottom under your flex-J and then nail downward thru it with a pea-shooter.
