Door R&R by others

Here is double door R&R I did a month or so ago. New door install by others just over a year ago, poor pan flashing installed as well as never repaired cause of water intrusion at time of door R&R.

The completed pic shows the wet motar line of the bricks I had to remove and replace to repair all damage including brick between door & window above to properly install moisture barrier between the 2.
The problem was a result of improper install of the hurricane shutter box above the window. Once the window was removed it was obvious to see the water stains from their lags down to the window top. Bottom of box was sealed well, the top wasn't allowing water to enter and no wheres to go other than to follow the lags to the wall and downward.
You can see we already replaced the dbl band beam prior door removal.
Onee thing he did do as he told the H/O he would, was use a heavy guage metal for pan.. To bad he did not know how to build a "pan".
