Crane BellaStone

Has anybody used the Bella Stone product from Crane? We had a rep visit recently and the stuff looks pretty interesting. I'm just wondering how it is to install and if anyone has had experience good or bad

ive never used it either it has a stone dust coating jmo the stone type panels have a repeating pattern that kind of gives it away also i would just use it where real stone would be used not in gables or on dormers or going up rakes

I know what you mean with the repeating pattern. I've seen a couple shots of entire homes done with it and I'm not crazy about it, but I think it really looks awesome in smaller spots where stone would normally be used. It actually has an insulating value of R4 too. I probably sound like a company rep or something, I'm just waiting for the opportunity to sell some.

Re: Crane BellaStone

personally i think its a sellable product ( is sellable even a word).
i woulk not want to use more than 3 or 4 squares of it in one place .it can complement some vinyl siding. i did that with a nail lite product,it was fake brick and ugly as hell but this indian couple wanted it. i used cedar baords and then 3 sq of this fake vinyl brick. it was a rather small area but did'nt look as bad as i thought it would. this new crane product is much nicer and realistic but i would still limit its use to no more than 4 sq area.
