Clapboard Install Tips
I've got 8 sq of 1/2 x 4 clear cedar clap coming up...
Anybody done much of this old school style?

It's 3" exp.

I vision a story pole, chalk lines everywhere, a siding gauge(?), 15 gauge 2-1/2" galv face nail (ss ?), backprime, lots of cuts, (seal cuts?).....

Piece of cake

What's a good siding guage? Any other tips?
