Cedar Impressions On A Mansard Roof

Does anyone have an opinion on using Cedar Impression shingles to replace cedar shakes on a mansard roof?

i dont think they are recomended for that,How about the stone coated steel roofing panels? probably be a better option

never heard of that..bet 10 to one certainteed would not warranty it.

Certainteed sent me some photos of their product used on a mansard roof.
It was in their library. Unable to upload photo due to size.

seems to contradict whats in there installation manual page 81
