Caulking


you guys caulk the int after painting or staining? staining we basically have no choice but anyone wait til they paint before caulking?

caulk is paintable , stain you should use wood filler that matches the type of wood . shold be done before staining/painting

you guys always caulk the int of window BEFORE you paint or stain?
of course using a wood filler means you stain after the filler but if we are using latex clear caulk,the caulk goes on AFTER the stain?

Your caulking should never be visible. so it shouldn't matter when or what you use.

The only visible caulking would be if the trim was being painted and the painter used painters caulk and then painted over. But gennerally, all of our caulking on the inside and outside is hidden. Exposed caulking looks like crap. ESPECIALLY Clear caulking
