Carpet Interference

I,m installing some french doors in a bedroom along with a small wall, there is carpet in the area I will be building the wall. Just wondering the best way to lose the carpet where the bottom plates will sit while keeping the carpet tight and looking proper, there will be base moulding installed if this makes a difference.
