I don't actually hang it,that is what I pay to have it done. That price includes down spouts at the same per ft. price. These guys have their own machine, run the pieces on site can do an average job in 2-3 hours. At 3 jobs per day they seem to do pretty well financially. Not to say some of you are overpriced, its just the difference geographically.Thats what the average price is around here,so if you charge more you don't get the work! ( this is 5'' seamless gutter )

Re: Aluminum Soffit Estimate?

I charge 7.00 per ft. for 5" gutter installed. Soffit is 3.50 sq. ft. facia is 7.00 lft. So I think K_ Tile estimate for 5200.00 is about right. That comes to almost what I would charge. By the way the 7.00 per ft. includes everything needed to hang the gutter.

I started out installing vinyl, and after realizing how HS of a product any vinyl is I went to seamless steel. Have a coil manufacturer that has been in business for over 25 years and has to this day never even discontinued a color. I would like to see anyone compare vinyl to that, I have found that even big companies like Owens Corning hide behind warranties of suppliers that they buy product off of and re brand. I will agree that if vinyl is put on correctly it will look good, but one carless nailer can make an entire job look like heck real fast. And try to replace a panel in the middle of the wall 10 years later on vinyl, (if you can even find the company that made the panel again) The old will be so faded that a blind person can tell you the one that was changed out. I just spent 2 days doing service work replacing out dented panels on steel. Out of 8 houses I changed panels on I bet you could not tell me one panel that is new from old from 10 feet away.

1.75 a foot, my cost is more than that, hell screws just went from 75 a box to 120.00. Up here in BC its 5.00 a foot for Fascia gutter 4.80 for 5K, more in Vancouver closer to 7.00 a foot for Fascia gutter.I have both machines. 2.75 a foot for downpipe. (Installed) Chop and drop 4.00 a foot for Fascia gutter and the same for 5K. Thats hangers and sealant included. End caps and drain tiles and elbows are extra. 1.75 I'd love to see someone pump out 200 feet of gutter and hang it with custom corners and sealed and downpipe in 3 hours cant be done We run in crews of three sometimes four and we dont stop for lunch and an average house is 5.5 to 6 hours Average being 160 to 180 feet of gutter and 8 downpipes. 3 hours not going to happen.

Re: Aluminum Soffit Estimate?

I was paying my gutter sub 1.80 ft materials and install on basic 5" white. Now he's up around 2.25.

I agree that's its dirt cheap. I don't personally install it for that very reason. I'm so slow with gutters I need $5/ft just for the install to make it worth my time.
