Re: Advice With Casement Window Replacement

We use Pozzi Windows made by Jeldwen for retro fit. This is a very upper end wood window that can be made to fit your opening.
Pella is only good for new construction because they wont make custom jamb widths.

I've used Harvey Majesty many times and have had real good luck with them. I use Marvin's which is more money and had good luck also. You will also want to make sure you can go into the old frame because with Stucco outside if you have to pull the old frame make sure you get enough labor.

Marvin windows are just ok in our opinion. Many spec builders use these because of the pricing they can get from buying direct.

How do you support this statement?

Do they have the best NFRC ratings?

Do they offer the best warranty?

Do they only permit factory trained installers to install their products?

Do they offer free factory service for warranty work?

I'll give you this, they have some really nice looking catalogs!
