OK...I'm pretty stupid at times but not THAT stupid!!!

The two most recent things I can remember doing (and one hurt really bad!!) were:

1. Had my 20 foot extension ladder fully extended and on the hood of my van so I could reach to get on top of a 30 foot roof.

2. Had my extension ladder resting on a smooth concrete floor, and leaning agaist the steel wall I was demolishing with a 7 inch grinder. This one cost me an ambulance ride to the hospital to get my heel bone and achille's tendon surgically reattached.

I have wised up a bit, and realized that we can't get too comfortable in what we are doing. If we don't CONSTANTLY focus on safety, bad things WILL happen.
