Problem is Alpha sounds reasonable

Re: NIGHTMARE Pics!!!

Well there u have it. I would never have called that work a "nightmare". Yeah it was done quick and cheap and not within code. And from what I gather from the guys here that we take pride in doing our jobs in a professional manner and doing it with integrity. So when u come and try to bash an electrician and your not one. You had better have a good case.

I'm not sure that's the reaction he was hoping for... I hope he was wearing asbestos underwear...

Don't think twice. Do the job. It's the only way to get a little of your tax money back. I do some of this HUD work, and most of the people are appreciative. Mind you, I don't bury junction boxes either. This guy was so over the top, and he didn't even realize it, which is a shame. I didn't get into the quality of the work, which was obviously poor and shameful. I thought it was more important to tune-up the homeowner. Sensationalizing his problem on the Internet is not an effective way to deal with solving the safety issues, which demonstrates yet another bad decision he's making on his road of life. His real solution would have been to take his concerns directly to his local building department and the people controlling the grant money. That would have been the real solution.

BUT MD, You dont understand, you cold hearted Jerk, He deserves to have his house fixed up for free. In fact they should even give him a new car, and pay for gas too since he cant afford it. MD do you even know what its like to have to work 5 whole 8 hour days a week?

Re: NIGHTMARE Pics!!!

I don't get it. I read through his post on DIY...now he's posting the same exact crap here? What, he didn't get a good enough reaction over there? This isn't whinyHOtalk.com, when I log in, I want to read posts by contractors.

"I put Electrical because I had to put something in?" What the hell is that? Sorry guys, I gotta report his post and get his ass booted back over to DIY. I'm just not interested in talking to HO's here. If I wanna talk to them, I'll go play in their kiddie pool.
