Why do you list your trade as electrical when you're a HO.

I've read your advice to other DIYers on that site, and it's mostly the blind leading the blind.

i'm torn between acknowledging the problems in some of the pics...or just dismissing the whole thing because of the over zealous, incorrect HO that's posting them...

Guys, Im not here to cause trouble. I have Electrical listed because I had to list something. I registered here to see attachments and such, and have a moderators permission to post my pics here. I am not overzelous in any way, and am more than willing to admit when I am wrong (hence the statment I made that was quoted). I did not do this work, as it was stated it was doine by a contractor under a grant. I know enough to know that almost everything he did was wrong. I posted these for you to enjoy, not for me to get ridaculed.

You don't get to make that decision.

ok...but the problem is that not all the pictures you showed were of an illegal installation...and...it's common knowledge that most contractors who do HUD work are picked on low price...

so, in my attempt to not ridicule you, i will point out that there is a difference between something that is illegal...wrong....or just not to your liking...

but you have to consider that there is not enough money in most of these grants to entice fully qualified contractors to do the work.

if you want to poke at a hornets nest, don't be shocked that the hornets get riled up...

don't take this to mean that the work is good, or even ok..

Sooo familiar....
Talk about barely

If Celtic would start posting his comedy on the DIY board, all these HO's would have no reason to sneak in here.
