Line Down

I was on my scooter pulling into my driveway and there was a garbage truck across the street driving in the same direction (two lanes are closed for repairs). As I'm pulling into the driveway I hear a noise and see a shadow of a line moving quickly along the ground, I hit the gas a bit hard and pull into the garage. I go back out front and there're some power lines on the ground jumping around and sparking, the garbage truck pulled it down. I go inside call the FD. I come back out and cars are just driving over it causing it to bounce around and shoot some sparks. Here's the funny part, the garbage man took off but came by again real slow, this time the lines get snagged on his truck. I'm telling him to stop but he starts pulling away slowly (maybe an illegal alien afraid to get in trouble, I talked to him so I'm speculating) and the lines are starting to tighten up and are getting ready to pull down some more stuff and I yell at him to stop with some authority and he finally does.

Two random comments:

1. Call the power company first so the fire department does not have to do crowd control all day.

2. Scooter? Hopefully a cool one, post a picture.

Re: Line Down

I had a third item to bring up, the ghost image on the house accross the street.

Celtic, for 17k I would need some motorcycle handlebars and a little more speed than 15mph, 85 would work fine.

It's ComEd (real slow, real bad), they just got here to fix it now, they had one guy come out and cut the lines and untangle them from the garbage truck that came about 30 - 45 minutes after being called. I called the FD because the lines were right were all the kids ride their bicycles and sure as crap shortly after the cops arrived some kid rode right near (didn't see it) and got an earful from the cop.

It's a reflection off my window, I was in the kitchen calling the FD and my camera was on the table so I took a shot through the window.

Actual scooter, was looking for a pic and realized I already had one on photobucket (Duh).
