another great easy way to remember the pie formulas is to just remember the phrase "EIR PIE" (said "ear pie"), and just remember the first letter is obviously on top.

Though for the basic pie formulas I've found that with just a bit of repetition of doing the calculations (as i've been in school) you just instinctively know what to do to get this or that.

Incidentally, to the original poster - I'm at Pennco Tech too.
