grnd or no grnd

i'm installing a service for a friend of mine who's building a strawbale house
the local utility requires a meter socket and disconnect at the pole. the
pole is 100' from the house. i put up a combination disc/can and as required 2 grnd rods and # 4 str. stapled up the pole, this goes to the grnd rods and
the disc. the disconnect is also a small panel where at the bottom of the bus you land the wires going to the house, (200 amp can/disc) my question is a simple one, do i run a grnd to the house along with the feeders? (question of paralleling or the use of neutral + grnd) or set two grnd rods outside the house and, would you put a disconnect on the house or just a main breaker on the panel inside..... thanks for any advice

I have to strongly say, if you are doing this for someone else these are things you should know already. Are you an electrician or a GC?

Typically we would not run a ground with the lateral from a pole service to a house.
The disconnect/main breaker panel issue are locally dictated. Does your area require an outside disconnect?
