Re: Electric Shower

That's part of our Kramer Co division. We install a lot of those along with garbage disposals in the shower. What you can't see in the rest of the picture is that's a subpanel that is running the microwave that is installed in the other wall of the shower.

Very popular, sales are up 10% this year, but we don't get any repeat customers.

Mike, I hope you require payment in full before energizing. Otherwise, I would think you might have trouble collecting.

Re: Electric Shower

3 panels, 1 shower head... shower gets voted out of the 'bathroom'.

I once saw a panel, the last HO from my customer removed the guts and bolted it to a concrete wall and then custom made the rest out of wood.
The cover, the tops (complete with rx connectors), the sides, bottom and door were all made of wood. Just to match his finished basement lol
The grounds were all tied together under a lug as were the neutrals.
Never ceases to amaze me the lengths (or depths lol) ppl will go to make something "purdy" no matter how dangerous it is.

Please if you ever see something close to that I would love to see a picture.

If I had to guess, the shower was put in after the service was done. But who in their right mind would install a shower head next to the panels? I mean, come on! Before I was a trained electrical technician I knew that water and electricity do not mix. So what's up with this???

MORONS!!!!!!!11111
I dont see anything wrong other than the fact that the shower has no curtain.

Re: Electric Shower

It had to have been a back porch. In some of the old houses around here the panels, usually a 60 amp is on the covered back porch the water heater is right through the wall in the corner of the kitchen, the stove is right next to it behind the panel. There will be one light circuit on the whole house and two recept. circuits one down each side of the house. One circuit in the kitchen. And they needed and extra bath, so guess where, right behind the water heater, I bet the washer and dryer is on the other wall in the same room.
