Duct bank pictures are always pretty impressive. What lots of non electricians don't realize is that half or more of those conduits are empty spares.

Nice work. Say is that RMC/IMC or PVC? Can't tell, cause the picture is a little grainy. The shiny-ness sorta looks like IMC or RMC, but those huge sweeping offsets in the lower rack it seems could only be made in PVC and look so nice.

Good thing you took the pics. Seems a shame to take some of your finest work, back up a row of concrete trucks, and cover it all up. Sorta anticlimatic.

whats that feeding?

What is all that feeding? Md is right about the spare's last summer I did a school remodel and put in 30 4 incher and about 10 2.5 inchers and only 5 of the four incher s were used. the rest were spare's. But the real dissappointing thing is ten years earlier they did the same thing but put in a ton of spare 2 and three inchers. The waste of money here in california is sickening. My wife is a fifth grade teacher with kids sharing books and we buy most of the supplies. The keep telling her there is no money for the kids but there throwing millions of dollers in the dirt. ANd thats not the half of it. I do school by day and night and weekends I own my own service company. I can tell you every school I do all the workers are overpaid and they have meeting to think of more ways to waste tax payers money! go wings! bk

Yeah, ditch work isn't really fun in rainy WA. I had a good year long run of it between that job and some road work. I just got done with a papermill shutdown. out of the rain into the steam bath!
I did Some conversions on overhead cranes (from pendant control to radio control) in paper mills awhile back. Not during shutdown. That was rough. when your up 50ft in that steam you can only work about 10mins at a time. when you come down in the lift you would get the chills cooling off to...I dunno... 110 degrees on the production floor...OSHA was at the last job on the last week and made us use aircondition suits....Yeah Just in time we had only been begging for them for 3 months...I guess the owner of the company at the time wouldnt have made as much money if we got it done in 3 weeks.....all T&M for that one
