Sauna/shower/steam rm

Here's a few pics of something I built this spring but just got most of the detailing done. This was the building where everything had to be carried to the site, including the 20' -6"x12" s. and twenty yards of concrete. Rich.

Wow, that table cloth or covering really makes it look much busier than it is. Once I could ignore that cloth I was able to see what beautiful work you did on this.

Kudos! Or as I like to say, "Houston, we have wood!"

The hardware that you can see various places on that structure is out of this world. Can you share the source for it?

Wow, that is awesome. I also love the hardware. I hope you built it for yourself.

I do some forge work myself, but the customer is a heli pilot who works on an oil pipeline in Georgia, E. Europe, and he picked it up there.

Guess hardware stores in former Soviet block countries probably don't have websites.

Looks like a very nice place to lounge on because they have projector and it looks like they have surround sound too?! I too love the hardware.

Quick question though. How do you keep little animals from going under the porch? Did you put some 1/4" or so wire mesh or something like that?

I can't imagine why anything would go in there, but I guess if it did, and died, it would be a problem. Would it be crass to say that the problem wouldn't be mine? Rich.

I think it looks like a nice get away cabin. i just have one question. Can you legally have a gun in canada? The reason why i ask is because that looks like a isolated area and personally i'm not living there without at least a Beretta 9mm for protection.

How far did you have to carry all that stuff?

Protection from what? This is Canada, I might be concerned in the city but not out here. You can own guns here, in fact Canadians own more guns per capita than you guys do, we just don't use them on each other as much.

You can see how far in this pic. That's the tool for carrying it all.

Beautiful work, looks like the gingerbread house that Hansel and Gretel were lured into.
In the second picture it almost looks like some dude is mooning me

Ron, it's a girl. And I told her I would be showing this to you so she decided to do that. Do you recognise her?

Hauling in the bush

You say you hauled all the material into the outback including all the concrete. It appears the outback is just that, out back of the house. Everyone must have been just exhausted watching you carry all the material from the comfort of the deck on the house in the foreground.
looks good though.
