New Guy posting pics of what I do...
Hi all,
Well I have some free time and wanted to introduce myself. I think I can do that best by showing a pic of what I do...it's imprintd asphalt. The intersection was 100+ feet by 80+ feet. It took us about a week.

I like it! Maybe it won't shift around like all of those stupid pavers that everybody loves so much today.

Naw...
Its an alternative to stamped concrete...btw...wasn't my idea to use the light color...the owner let the city decide on that one...but its holding up well after 3 years. I have a shot taken by helicopter tho...too big to put on here tho...But sincerely appreciate the good natured attempt at poking fun at a job which is within a 1/4" of true throughout...not saying i'm the best...but when the best is mentioned my name pops up...lol

Cost? Relative to?
It's a private retail development which was later annexed by the city. You know how those things go...city requires something towards beautification...upscale look, etc. developer liked my product, the job is built, the city finally takes over maintenence, so no cost to taxpayers ...btw, we beat the hound out of pavers the we stomped stamped concrete (pun intended) the stamped guy was sore at me then one by one all his crew and the owner came up during the job and shook my hand complimenting me on my work. (It came in around 55k...)

We've been getting those a lot around here. I notice that the paint or whatever fades quickly. Some municipalities try to get some low ball schmuck in to paint it and it lasts like a month.
Looks very nice BTW, I'm sure you are not included in the schmuck description above

We had some people in a development I worked in complain about the rich people in the development across the street getting brick speed bumps when all they got was asphalt speed bumps.
The developer hired a crew to come out with this giant rolling heat lamp while everyone was at work. They slowly rolled it over the asphalt until it was soft as when first put down. They then put down brick stamps and rolled over them with a mini steam roller and painted them brick red.
Everyone was happy after that.
