We have been battling through the snow and cold. What a lousy time to start a building, in late October in Northern Utah. This job sits in a wind tunnel, too. It is right at the mouth of a canyon and every morning until about noon the wind just howls out of the canyon. All my crew has been doing is shoveling snow and building tents for the mason. We build tents as soon as the wind dies down, the mason works in them, and then the next day the re-inforced visqueen is in shreads and we do it all over again.
Finally getting some iron up:

The elevator sits back in here, beyond the opening that the 2x4's are holding up. I hate elevators. Naw, that's not true. I hate the State elevator inspector:
