i like how the purlins are notched to sit flush or do they?

here some i helped install on a gas station covienence store in nj

this is the decking we used its laminated from 3 pces of 1x6 with the center pc offset to provide the T&G

RE: Unusal Trusses (these days)

The purlins where raised by 2.5ins for insulation and drywall to finish in line with top edge of trusses, trusses, half the purlins, and the hips where all left exposed.
