Truss Setting


Another beautiful day in Iowa for setting trusses. This is a custom home we are framing up for a local GC. The HO come over every day with fresh donuts and came one day last week with ice cold bud....people can really suprise you..

Nice looking system. Do you like it better then hand cutting a roof?

i always enjoyed hand framing, but with pre-built trusses, it has really made it simple to construct roofs.

This also goes the other way, with any local with a hammer and a trailer thinking they can frame up houses....

I am working on plans for a horse shoe shaped 12 unit apartment....this will be the first time I will get to use the "system" in the corners......if we get to build it.
