Thats a cool railing detail.

yea i did....the builder found a picture of a house that was "cottage of the year" in coastal living magazine. he asked if i was up to the challenge. we cut individual 1x1 blocks , then glued, brad nailed and then sanded to make each "panel" . it added about four more days to the job...turned out beautiful
