Screened Porch System

I started this project in July and just finished today. A few lead times from hell. I'm posting the pics so you can see the screened porch. A few people here recommended the aluminum system from Harvey Industries which is what we went with. I like the product, but customer service reps were useless, what was supposed to take 4 weeks took more than 10.
The columns, bases and capitals definitely presented some challenges, but turned out all right.
The spiral is a kit, not a one-piece aluminum. The kit only had half the lead time as the one-piece.

Thanks for the recommendations!

That looks great... Was the spiral a pain in the butt? Did you get it from ironshop.com? If not were did you get it from?

I used ironshop.com and the sales guy was a moron. The staircase I think was not the greatest in the world, but it worked.

The spiral was from Salter (salterspiralstair.com), they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. I was going to use the Ironshop, but their lead times were 8-10 weeks vs 4-5 with Salter. The nice thing about the Ironshop is that they offer a one-piece welded stair, whereas Salter only offers kits.
It wasn't too difficult to install, but it's definitely a two person job.

I had forgoten about this thread, sorry... I put the iron shop one together myself... twice kind of. I put my base plate and pole on and added all the steps (except one that I forgot to add. It was in a differant area of the yard) Put the platform on and got it all level and put 8 steps together and looked at what I had left... And said "Those idiots shorted me one step". Then I turned around and saw the other step. So I had to take it all apart and add the one step. Let me tell you, putting the platform on by myself was hard. But taking it off was much worse.
If I ever do one again I will have another person help me out.
