The maple was 7/8 and the walnut was 3/4. I wanted to have as flat as a bottom as I could so the difference was at the top.
I started out with 50 grit on the belt sander and worked my way down.
Im thinking of taking it to my buddies place with the Sanya machine and letting it smooth it out since its not got a coat of finish on it.
Hell be getting a case of beer for sure,for helping me out with a few projects.
