Past Couple Projects
Start with the easy one, standard 24'x30' garage with 5/12 sstorage web trusses complete with full attic floor and fold down attic stairs. slipped this one in while building the room addition in pictures to follow.
![]() ![]() This is the 27'x16' room addition, from left wall over 20' is a standard living room type set-up, then there is a step down the rest of the way which is the mud room/entry way. Homie is doing all inside stuff. 20'x14' covered deck with slight radius in the front. Homie was going to do that part himself, then last minute changed it to us putting it up. as well as the fence to go from addition to garage with 8' gate so he could squeez his skid loader in there for snow removal. Also reroofed the whole house as an after thought too....this is the addition that I complained about footings being 6" out in 16' and poured wall exterior being 3" out which threw off everything, and then scissor trusses were a joke too....not a fun project, and I quite counting change orders after 30...literally. ![]() ![]()

Re: Past Couple Projects
Is this a receptacle? If so, it's missing the required "weatherproof while in use" cover (aka "bubble cover").

I'm glad to be out of there, took waaaay longer than anticipated with all the changes made throughout, and since I did not pull the permit and was only a sub, in light of what took place I was not going to start over stepping my "sub-contractor" boundries and suggesting anymore than I had to. It will pass code locally, but I understand exactly what your saying-if this was in the town I do 90% of my work in, the recepticals would be covered with the poly sheilds. Edit: and another code infraction, the homie ran a black pipe gas line through the scissor trusses of the main addition and has a stub poking through the gable end in the covered deck area. ALL of the elbows were just threaded together with liquid sealer, and code in my big town requires any elbow/joint in a gas line be welded and pressure tested before covering up....small town code enforcment
