Old Fire Surround

Hi all, this is only my second post, this surround was ripped out of a very old large house where I am currently working because the new owners, my boss didnt like it. The house is near Manchester UK and owned by a football player(soccer). it has a large oak staircase
what do you think

I'm pretty sure if you could remove that and not break the pieces and crate it up, you could sell that on eBay for a small fortune here in the states.

I can understand why they wanted it removed, though. It is sorta a hodge-podge of styles, isn't it? Looks like it was modified/added to over the years.
