Really? I figured this size was good for most people, fits great on a few different computers I have, but good to know.

It ain't how big it is, it's what you do with it.
If you have your screen resolution set to 1024 x 768 (a very common setting), those pics are indeed too big.
IMO, 640 x 480 is the optimum size for posting pics, here or in email. Unless you happen to know that your recipient has teenage eyes and a screen res set to some insanely high number.

Yes, thank you. Part of the railing anyway, I finished what was left which was the three sections on the 2nd floor. Basically, the trim upstairs I did...except a few window jambs...
This is the only "Close up" of the railing. I was making a batch of window stools at the moment. Just a real simple round over on each side to match the downstairs of the home. The older Craftsman 1HP router was my grandfathers. It has a nice wooden case with locking lid he built....it's not the best...but I like it for the sole reason it was my grandfather's who was a carpenter back in his day.
I have a 17" monitor here, and the res is set around 1280 x 1024, the highest my computer allows....so are the masses telling me to downsize?
EDIT: I just bumped the photos down to 800x640 is that any better?

Here is a bed frame I am been slowly working on...I need to create two little fillet pieces for under to top cap on left and right. Then I need to make the foot board and side rails....and i have no idea why it looks so out of proportion in the photo but it is sized for my bed...I don't know what to finish it out of tho...I have been told poly by one and laquer by another...Don't mind the helmets...i was messing with my gear...
