Something else you can do next time is use high gloss for the initial coats then finish with the semi gloss or satin.

Nice table, Mag, - - I still have the first coffee (parson's) table I ever built, 40 years ago, - - in a school wood shop in the 7th grade. Maybe I'll take a pic of it later, - - it's really a very plain design (in pine), but it has that sentimental value.
