Cool it worked.....I'm waiting on the custom pewter finished surround to come in so I can install it and be done. These are hand made tile that are fired here on Long Island. Each one is a different size and shape there are no two exact tiles. The mantle I fabricated after the one my customer ordered through a local lumber yard started to fall apart before I could even get it out of the package.

Thank you for all the compliments!
Gus- I did everything but the actual cutting of the hearth material, but I did template for it myself. I removed the old mantle, adressed the old brick facia, ran a little electric, spackled and patched a few spots, built the mantle and base, installed the hearth, installed the tile, and sprayed the woodwork. But not all in one day.
A.W.davis- The hearth material is just a simple Blue Stone with thermal texture applied.
